About Tuberculosis Testing

If you are at risk for contracting tuberculosis, or if you have been exposed to someone who has active tuberculosis, it is critical that you be tested immediately. This tuberculosis "walk-through" will take you through the tuberculosis testing process. You will learn how to prepare for the tuberculosis (Mantoux / PPD) skin test, how it is performed, how the test results are read and interpreted, and what the test results mean.

It is strongly recommended that you read through each section of the "walk-through" so that you get all of the information.
